To us, Ethical Infrastructure is the machinery for mass and scalable production, awareness, measurement and operation of ethics. Rather than infrastructure that behaves ethically, we are builders and operators of an Ethical Infrastructure.
Operating an Ethical Infrastructure is an outcome of engineering which is built in at the start. Our ethical modelling, measurement, frameworks, and insight are all delivered from precise, designed and applied engineering that have a foundation in physical reality.
We believe ethics is foundational for the future of human health. How our foundation and the infrastructure it creates and operates are governed, and how we deliver on our purpose is transparently and openly measured.
Using recent scientific innovations, we have the ability to measure and provide proofs of ethics with similar scientific rigour and independent verifiability as one would measuring carbon content or assaying the purity of gold. We hold ourselves and the future we are co-creating with our partners, communities, providers, benefactors and markets to account with immutable, independently verifiable measurement of ethical decisions and action.

Not fixing it. The impact of structural problems in health and health data are multiplied by AI.
Humanity continues to innovate at an accelerating rate. We remain trapped into business models and economically motivated behaviours that are holding back realisation of technology into better futures – where lives and outcomes for all humans continuously improve.
To unlock this future, Health and Health Data needs exactly what created dramatic improvements in public health historically – Infrastructure as a Public Good. Just like access to clean water and functioning sewage, the health impact of ethical self governed data and enabling economic structures will be profound. Humanity needs infrastructure for health innovation to be built on that prioritises human health and human agency.
We are already seeing that when the infrastructure of AI is built in a way that prioritises profit – it unsurprisingly leads to optimisation for profitable outcomes. Human rights, health outcomes, human self-agency become unempowered priorities that are pushed away and ultimately lost.
At the Decentralised Human Architecture Foundation we understand emergent outcomes of even the most benign drivers and purpose behind organisations and AI’s.
Our foundation seeks to provide the infrastructure to maximise Human Health and Human Agency. Our mission facilitates the growth of ethical AI applications that are built from equitably accessible ecosystems of innovation. We are the governance foundation for the architectures of an evolutionary infrastructure from which a new way to access health and healthcare data will emerge.
We have a vision for a future for humanity that is decentralised. In this future no singular person, entity, corporation, political power, economy or system has the authority to dictate or own as property the future of human health or human decision making – physically, economically, or intellectually.
In this future, a diversity of equitably accessible services, knowledge and an open and competitive ecosystem exists. An ecosystem of diverse and competing social, economic, political, data and technical architectures emerges from a foundation of ethical infrastructure.
